After the hit Malayalam movie "1983", director Abrid Shine has joined hands with up-and-coming superstar Nivin Pauly for the action movie "Action Hero Biju". After releasing an artist's impression of Nivin's character as the first look poster of the movie in December, the makers have now revealed the second poster, featuring Nivin in a never-before police officer avatar riding a bullet. The third poster features him in a stylish police look.

The poster has received good response from the audience, who have been eagerly awaiting the release of "Action Hero Biju", which started rolling in May 2015 and wrapped up in October. The film looks promising as it is the first movie of Nivin in which he will be seen in a tough look, that of a police officer named Biju Paulose. It also marks the comeback of the "1983" team that won the Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actor, Best Second Best Actor and Best Debut Director.

Anu Emmanuel, who played the roles of a child artiste in Jayaram-Samvrutha Sunil starrer "Swapna Sanchari" in 2011, will be seen opposite Nivin in the upcoming action-thriller. Scripted jointly by Abrid and Muhammad Shafeeq, the film has seen its cinematography handled by Alex J Pulickal, while Gopi Sunder has composed the music.

"Action Hero Biju", with the tagline "A ride with a police officer", is the first production venture of Nivin under the banner of Pauly Jr. Meanwhile, Nivin also has Vineeth Sreenivasan's "Jacobinte Swargarajyam" and an untitled movie directed by "Premam"-fame Althaf Salim in his kitty for the year 2016.
