The much-anticipated compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Nissan Terrano will be launched in India on Wednesday (9 October), taking on the likes of Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster in the Indian auto market.

The highlights of Nissan Terrano are the new grille, headlights, tail lights and diamond-cut machined alloy wheels.
The SUV will have two diesel and one petrol engine options. The diesel variants will come with a 1.5-litre K9K engine, while the petrol variants will be powered by a 1.6-litre engine.
According to Auto Car India, Terrano will be available in three trim levels - XE, XL and XV. The base model of the XL petrol variant will be priced ₹8.39 lakh and the XE trim of diesel variant is expected to cost ₹9.15 lakh. The XL Plus trim would go for ₹11.66 lakh and the XV Premium will cost ₹12.83 lakh. (All prices estimated, ex-showroom, Delhi).
Nissan Terrano, which will be available in seven variants and six colours - Pearl White, Blade Silver, Saphire Black, Sterling Grey, Bronze Grey and Fire Red.
Nissan India has opened the booking window for Terrano. Buyers can book the vehicle with an advance payment of ₹50,000, which is refundable.
