Japanese carmarker Nissan announced the opening of the pre-bookings window for the soon-to-be-launched the Terrano AMT SUV in India on Friday, October 7. The new Terrano AMT will go on sales in India later this month.
The bookings for the Terrano AMT are open for a down-payment of Rs 25,000. Based on the top-of-the-line XVD Premium Terrano, the AMT avatar of the SUV will be priced in the range of Rs 13.75 lakh to 13.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The engine line-up of the new Terrano will include 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is tuned to generate 108bhp of power and 248Nm of torque, mated to all-new 6-Speed Advanced AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). The Terrano AMT claims to offer a mileage of 19.61kmpl.

With the introduction of the Terrano, Nissan has also rolled out new features such as electrically folding exterior rear-view mirrors with integrated turn signals, anti-pinch driver side windows, a new driver armrest, soft touch plastics on the dashboard and door trim. In addition to this, The Terrano now gets white, backlit illumination on door switches, new door trim design, one touch turn indicators, and automatic warning for emergency braking. The Terrano SUV is now also available in the new Sandstone Brown body paint.
