Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) announced it will showcase the world-renowned halo models and refreshed product line-up for the forthcoming Auto Expo 2016, which will start from 3 February (media day) at Greater Noida.
In October 2015, Nissan became the main sponsor of the International Cricket Council (ICC) until 2023. Celebrating the deal, Nissan will showcase Twenty20 world cup limited editions of the Terrano SUV and Micra hatchback. As part of the association with the ICC, the Nissan booth will also feature a special interactive zone for cricket.
Nissan will showcase special edition of the Terrano SUV and a sport version of the Sunny sedan, the company said in a statement. The company has already teased the GT-R for India and the car is expected at the show. The company's press release also confirms the display of EPORO robots. EPORO technology was created as part of Nissan's development of autonomous drive.
Nissan's sub-brand Datsun will showcase new variants of its existing models including Datsun Go hatchback and Go+ MPV. The Datsun Go-cross concept will also make India debut at the show. Sharing space with it will be the Datsun Bluebird 1600 SSS (510) rally car, which brought motorsport glory to the brand in the early 1970s.
