Nintendo's high-fantasy action-RPG game title 'The Legend of Zelda' will soon hit the iOS platform, according to sources close to the Wall Street Journal. To be precise, the game is expected to hit the iOS App Store sometime in the second half of 2017 or early 2018, after the release of Animal Crossing for iOS.
DeNA, the developer who created Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes will be porting the official Legend of Zelda game to smartphones, besides developing a new digital-card game. With The Legend of Zelda being one of Nintendo's most-successful game franchises ever, it is definitely worth exploring on your mobile platform, once it has been released.
In line with the game's traditional objectives, you will be entrusted the task of rescuing princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule from Ganon, who's the game's chief antagonist. After a long break from the mobile-gaming development, it seems Nintendo is all set to begin its second stint with The Legend of Zelda on the new platform.
