If you are a hardcore Nintendo fan, you should be most excited about the upcoming new Nintendo 3DS XL. And with the release of the console now at hand, you are likely to get your hands on the fresh new console from Nintendo today midnight.
The release date of the New Nintendo 3DS XL is almost near; the console is set to launch this Friday. And although US fans will only receive the New Nintendo 3DS XL and not the regular New Nintendo 3DS, a number of great games will be available for the handheld device immediately.
These titles include The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. And if you are looking to buy your own unit of the 3DS XL, you are lucky, as we have just finished compiling the best places to purchase Nintendo's latest handheld.

As reported, GameStop will be hosting midnight launches for the console across the country. Fans can pick up the device at 12:01 am (US Time) at select stores, alongside Majora's Mask and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Just enter your ZIP code into this interactive map, and find the launches nearest to you.
Like GameStop, Best Buy is also holding midnight launches for the new Nintendo 3DS XL. You can check your preferred locations here if you are interested in picking up a unit for yourself. Please make note that even though you can pre-order the device on BestBuy.com, the electronics store could still cancel orders of more than one copy of the Majora's Mask bundle.
"Find your local midnight opening store below. Reserve a copy to pick up at 12:01 a.m. on release date by pre-ordering now. At checkout, choose store pickup at a midnight opening location," says the Best Buy post.
However, if you are a couch potato and would give anything to beat waiting in queues for the console, you could always pick up the device from the official Nintendo website in a hassle-free way. After all, official websites are always the best, since everything is much more, well, official.
"Join us for the highly anticipated launch of The New Nintendo 3DS XL, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. There will be giveaways with purchase while supplies last and other surprises in store," says the Nintendo World Store site.
As far as a bit of backdrop is concerned, the new Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL devices were announced last August. Both consoles arrived in Japan in October 2014, and a month later, in New Zealand and Australia.
Last month, Nintendo announced the newly done Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL would be launched in Europe on Friday, although US customers would only have access to Nintendo 3DS XL. The handheld consoles now posses a stronger CPU than current models, with built-in, near-field communication for the company's upcoming amiibo toy line.
