Looks like the tag of lucky charm have really worked for actress Nikki Galrani. All the Malayalam projects done by the actress has become hits and she is now flooded with offers and is now slowly becoming the most favourite of directors. Reports are that the "1983" actress will be seen next as Vineeth Sreenivasan's sister.
The film, which is tilted as "Oru Second Class Yathra", will see Vineeth as a criminal. It is the debut direction of Rejis and Jexson Anthony, who are also scripting the movie.
"Oru Second Class Yathra" is touted as a road movie, which narrates incidents that happen in a train journey between Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram.
"The film is not an out-and-out road movie, but its first 40 minutes is a train journey from Kannur to Poojappura in Trivandrum. There is ample scope for entertainment for audience across age groups. The lead actors are commoners. Its story is quite different compared to the previous films I have done in Malayalam. It is not another love story. It's the tale of two siblings and their relationship, and is written beautifully," director Rejis told The Times of India
The shooting of the film is expected to kick-start by January at various locations in Kannur, Aluva, Thrissur, Kochi and Kayamkulam. The film also has Joju George, Sreejith Ravi, Chemban Vinod, Indrans, Nedumudi Venu and Innocent in prominent roles.
Meanwhile, Vineeth is currently busy with the upcoming movie, "Oru Vadakkan Selfie", starring Nivin Pauly and Manjima.
Nikki, who made her debut in Malayalam in "1983", later went on to do noticeable films like "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana" and "Vellimoonga".
She is also awaiting the release of the movie, "Enthoru Bhagyam", which is currently in the post-production stage and is also reportedly part of Suresh Gopi-starrer "Rudrasimhasanam"
