Nikki Galrani of "1983" fame will star opposite Dileep in his upcoming film "Ivan Maryadharaman". The upcoming actress is excited to act opposite Dileep and is looking forward to start the shooting of the film.
"I am happy that my career is shaping up in Mollywood. I have been busy with projects in other industries. But now, I want to give more time to Malayalam films. It is a great feeling to work with a superstar. I am looking forward for the shoot," said Nikki to The Times of India.
Nikki was last seen in "Vellimoonga" along with Biju Menon, Asif Ali and Aju Varghese. She played the role of a nurse opposite Biju Menon in the film. The film is currently running in theatres with high positive reviews.
Meanwhile, "Ivan Maryadharman" is the remake of 2010 Telugu blockbuster film "Maryada Ramanna", which was directed by SS Rajamouli, who is known for his films like "Eega", "Magadheera", "Vikramarkudu", "Chathrapathi", "Simhadri" and "Student No 1". The Telugu version was a comedy thriller starring Sunil and Saloni Aswani in the lead and was a remake of the 1923 Buster Keaton film "Our Hospitality".
The Malayalam version titled as "Ivan Maryadharaman" will be directed by debutant Suresh Diwakar and the shooting of the film is expected to kick start by the first week of October. Dileep had reportedly signed this project in 2012, but it's shooting got delayed as the actor was busy with his other commitments
Scripted by the hit pair Uday Krishna and Siby K Thomas, "Ivan Maryadharaman" will be their 20th film with Dileep after 2013 flick "Sringaravelan".
"Ivan Maryadharaman", touted as a comedy entertainer, will be shot completely at Pollachi in Tamil Nadu in a huge set worth ₹1 crore. It will also have ₹75 lakh worth graphic works.
The film is expected to be one of the high budget films ever made in Malayalam as the total budget is expected to be over ₹9 crore. The film will be produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Ann Megha Media.
The music for this upcoming entertainer will be done by Gopi Sundar and the film is expected to be a Christmas release.
