Contestant Ryan McDill stole the premiere hour of the 11th season of "The Bachelorette" by turning up drunk and making a complete fool of himself on television.
His inappropriate behaviour towards Kaitlyn Bristowe irked a few contestants, who called out McDill for not being on the show for the right reasons.
On the premiere episode of the show, he stripped down into his speedos and dived into the pool, and his antics and attitude towards other contestants became so intolerant that host Chris Harrison was forced to throw him out of the show.
McDill's short stint on "The Bachelorette" has made him a small celebrity, and fans have been finding some similarities between him and Juan Pablo Galavis, who has the distinction of being one of the most hated persons on the dating reality show.
Interestingly, both Galavis and McDill have been involved with Nikki Ferrell, the winner of season 18 of "The Bachelor." McDill and Ferrell dated before she came on "The Bachelor," and the duo called it quits as McDill said they weren't in the same place in the relationship.
But later he told Life&Style magazine that he could see himself settling down with Ferrell.
"I could see the two of us working out long-term," he told Life & Style. "I could see having a family with her."
"After we broke up, there were times where I would say, 'I don't know if that was the right decision.'"
Reportedly, Galavis too called it quits with Ferrell because he felt they weren't on the same page.
McDill's appearance on Monday's episode have also earned him the title of a "douche", something that both fans and contestants of Bachelor Nation have been calling Galavis since season 18 of "The Bachelor" aired.
