Nikita Thukral has a surprise in store for her fans. Well, the multilingual actress is all set to marry her boyfriend Gagandeep Singh Mago this Navaratri at an upscale hotel in Mumbai.
The actress has confirmed the news to the Times of India and revealed that it is an elaborate event comprising of mehendi and sangeet ceremonies followed by traditional wedding and reception.
Nikita says that it is a love at first sight for Gagandeep after meeting him at her cousin's place in December 2015. "He asked my sister and spoke to me. Three days later, I had an emergency at home when my mother was hospitalised for vertigo. I was partying and rushed to her side. Gagan, who was in Chennai for work, flew down to be by my side and was impressed by my homely avatar," the daily quotes the actress as saying.
Gagandeep Singh Mago expressed his love for her on the same day and their families have approved their relationship given the fact that they belong to the same caste. Their wedding is expected to be attended by who's who of Sandalwood and some of her friends from Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries.
The actress claims that Gagandeep is her soul mate, who understands her well and their marriage is destined. Nikita has also revealed that they will be flying to Bahamas for their honeymoon.
It may be recalled that Nikita Thukral had a controversial relationship with Kannada star Darshan. In fact, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce took a moral stand to boycott her from Sandalwood for creating troubles in Darshan's martial life. But it was revoked following severe criticism.
Later, Darshan with his wife apologised for dragging her name to the infamous wife-beating episode of the Challenging Star.
