Actress Nikita Thukral, who is a familiar face in all South Indian languages, will soon be getting hitched in Mumbai.
Nikita, who made her Mollywood entry with Fazil's romantic entertainer Kaiyethum Doorath opposite Fahadh Faasil, will marry Mumbai-based industrialist Gagandeep Singh Mago this weekend. The big fat celebrations, which include the Mehendi ceremony, sangeet, wedding and reception, will begin from Thursday, October 6. The couple will enter wedlock on October 8.
A few stars from the entertainment industry are expected to grace the event and bless the couple. The couple also has plans to arrange a wedding reception in Bengaluru later in the month after they return from the Bahamas.
Gagandeep, son of Youth Congress' former vice president Mahinder Singh Mago, met the actress during a wedding ceremony in December. "It was love at first sight for him. He asked my sister and spoke to me.Three days later, I had an emergency at home when my mother was hospitalised for vertigo. I was partying and rushed to her side. Gagan, who was in Chennai for work, flew down to be by my side and was impressed by my homely avatar. This was what made him fall for me and he proposed to me at six in the morning that same day," Nikita told Bangalore Times.
Nikita, who made her acting debut in Bollywood with the Hindi version of Traffic, has three movies lined up for the year in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada.
