The audio and trailer of Nikhil Kumar's "Jaguar" was launched on Friday, Sept. 2. The makers organised a grand event at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Stadium in Mandya district, Karnataka which was attended by many big names of Sandalwood.

The audio had already created a positive buzz with the single "Selfie" going viral on the internet. It is a song crooned by Mika Singh and written by Chandan Shetty. 

Lahari Music has acquired the audio rights of "Jaguar" for a good price. Leading South Indian music composer S Thaman has scored music for the flick. The early response coming from the audience indicate that the tracks have impressed the viewers. 

The film has six songs for which Chandan Shetty, Rahul Nambiyar, Mika Singh, Kanika Kapoor, : Karthik, Megha, Deepak and Sammera have lent their voices for the songs, which are penned by Ramajogayya Sastry, Chethan Kumar and a few others.

"Jaguar" has been simultaneously made in Kannada and Telugu. While the Kannada version of the album is being unveiled on Friday, the makers have planned to launch the Telugu version in Hyderabad on Sept. 18. 

The upcoming movie is directed by debutant Mahadev. The story is written by Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of blockbuster movies like "Baahubali" and Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and father of filmmaker SS Rajamouli.

The movie has Mumbai-based model Deepti Sati playing the female lead role. Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen in the role of an antagonist and Ramya Krishnan will be seen in an important role. Brahmanadam, Sadhu Kokila, Sampath Raj and many others play significant roles in the movie. "Jaguar" features Ruben's editing and Manoj Paramahamsa's cinematography.

Meanwhile, reports say that popular actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been signed to do an item number in the film. The song will be shot in Hyderabad in the second week of September.
