The first look of Anushka Sharma's much ambitious debut production venture "NH 10" is finally out.
"NH10" stars Sharma and features Neil Bhoopalam and "Mary Kom" actor Darshan Kumaar in important roles.
In the poster, shared by the "PK" actress on her Twitter handle on 4 February, the actress is seen holding an iron rod as she walks away from the camera on a dark and lonely path. The poster has "No Turning Back" written on it.
"NH10" is touted as a thriller film and is based on a couple's road trip that went wrong leaving them in trouble.
"I really liked the script of 'NH10′. I believe in the film and I have faith in the director and writer. And if I have the ability to back a project I will do it," Indian Express quoted Sharma as saying.
Kumaar speaking about his character had earlier told DNA in an interview: "All I can tell you is that I play a character very different from the one in 'Mary Kom'. In fact quite the opposite. In 'NH10', I am aggressive, insensitive and insufferable. Not the kind of guy any girl would want to marry."
Directed by Navdeep Singh of "Manorama Six Feet Under" fame and co-produced by Phantom Productions and Eros International, "NH10" is slated to hit the big screens on 6 March, 2015.
Sharma seems to be on an experimental spree. After playing a journalist in Aamir Khan starrer "PK", the actress sported a completely different look in Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet" also starring Ranbir Kapoor. In the poster released on 3 February, the actress looks every bit of a jazz singer from 1950's.
