While most leading female actors of Bollywood are known to be rivals, the same is not the case with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
The duo, who shared screen space in Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", seem to be quite fond of each other.
Sharma, who recently appeared in a TV show to promote her maiden production venture "NH10", showered praise on her contemporaries.
When asked if there's any enmity among Bollywood actresses, Sharma said no; instead, she respects other them, such as Alia Bhatt, Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra with whom she shares screen space in Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do".
"The host of the show usually asks a lot of fun questions. So during one of the conversations, Anushka was asked if there was any animosity between actresses in the industry. Anushka answered saying that issues such as jealousy don't crop up and, in fact, she highly respects some of her contemporaries such as Alia (Bhatt), Priyanka (Chopra) and Katrina." a source present on the sets told Hindustan Times.
Further, the "PK" actress who has never refrained from expressing her fondness for Kaif, mentioned that her "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" co-actress is sincere, and that they bonded well while shooting for the film.
"Anushka said that she felt Katrina was very real and honest. And while shooting, they shared great camaraderie on the sets." the source added.
Meanwhile, "NH10" also stars Neil Bhoopalam and is based on a couple's (Sharma and Bhoopalam) road trip that goes terribly wrong leaving them in trouble.
The film will see Sharma in a never-seen-before avatar and will hit theatres on 13 March, 2015.
