The next generation Toyota Innova has been spied testing again in Bangalore ahead of its possible launch in 2015.
The next generation Innova has been in news for quite some time now.The car was caught on test earlier too in and around Bangalore, where Toyota has its manufacturing facility. The latest spy shots come from FlyWheel, which caught the new Innova at Bangalore -- Mysore road.
Although the 2016 Innova is still seen wearing a significant amount of camouflage, the latest images revealed the front and side profile of the car. The car in question here is likely to ride on the same platform of the current generation Innova and is rumoured to make its global debut some time next year.
An earlier report had suggested, the new generation Innova will be making its India entry in 2016 and will get an approximate price tag of ₹9-₹15 lakh.
Under the hood, the next generation Innova will reportedly get the same motor of the existing model, may be with minor tweaks to give a better output. There are also rumours that the new Innova could get the new Toyota diesel engine synchronised to both manual and automatic transmissions.
From the visual stand point, the upcoming Toyota innova will carry over the same design language of the current generation Innova, but with cosmetic makeover including a larger and new front fascia with rectangular grille, with three slats on top and three smaller slats at the bottom. At the back, the taillight of the new Innova is likely to get a horizontal arrangement along with a new bumper. The third window of the car is also expected to get a makeover.
Inside the cabin, the new Innova is expected to receive changes including new features. In India, the Innova will be pegged against recently launched Honda Mobilio, Chevrolet Enjoy and Nissan Evalia.
