Toyota continues testing its next generation Innova in the country and the car has been caught on camera once again in Karnataka, this time on the Mysore Ring Road around the company' s manufacturing facility.
The auto lovers in India have already seen enough spy shots and reports of the upcoming 2016 Toyota Innova. Now, the latest set of spy shots comes from TeamBHP. From the images, it looks like the upcoming Innova is longer than the existing model and the vehicle is likely to get changes in the rear and front profiles. The changes expected include new front bumper and the bigger windshield.
Inside the cabin too, the model is likely to pack changes. The previous spy shots have shown dual tone donned interior with big multi-info touchscreen and 3-spoke steering wheel. As for the engines, expect the Innova to pack the same engine of its current version, may be with a minor tweak for better output. There have also been rumours that a new diesel engine could also join the engine line-up.
The new model of Innova is expected to make its global debut in 2015 and is expected to reach Indian shores by 2016. In India, Innova rivals Honda Mobilio, Chevrolet Enjoy and Nissan Evalia and going by the rumours, the vehicle is likely to get a price tag around ₹9 lakh.
In another development, Toyota is also seen testing its Rush in India. It is not clear yet whether Toyota is planning to bring the model to India or the vehicle is being tested by the rival companies for benchmarking purpose.
