Three people have reportedly been killed in a shooting near the Boys & Girls Club on Genesee Street in Rochester in New York state, while five are injured. 

Initial reports had confirmed two deaths in the Rochester shooting, but the police reported another death.  

The shooting occurred at 11.30 pm local time on Wednesday, according to reports. 

Locals said they heard at least 10 gunshots, News 10 NBC reported. 

The police have reportedly said that it was a drive-by shooting, and relatives of a victim has said it could be gang-related, the channel reported.
