Major cities of the world, like New York, Sydney, Singapore and Dubai, are all set to begin the New Year celebrations with a blast. The occasion will include several activities, most notable of which are fireworks ceremonies and the Ball Drop ceremony at Times Square, New York.
Though it will indeed be a memorable experience to watch the New Year's Eve 2016 events, especially the Ball Drop ceremony at Times Square, it won't be possible for many to attend them in person.
However, that doesn't mean the rest can't enjoy the celebrations at all. There are several channels and websites that will cover the events live, providing updates on every single detail and happening. Some of them are as listed here:
New Year's Rockin' Eve by Dick Clark (ABC)
The show will start at 8 pm (local time) and Ryan Seacrest will once again host the televised Times Square celebrations. He will be accompanied by singer Fergie.
Other performers on the show will include Carrie Underwood, Nick Jonas and Jimmy Buffet. Taylor Swift will premiere the video of her new song "Out of the Woods" on the show.
New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin (CNN)
The duo will return at 8 pm tonight for one of the most charming and real telecasts of the night. In its ninth season, the comedian will once again portray newsman Cooper.
Richard Quest of CNN will also join them at Times Square, accompanied by Brooke Baldwin and Don Lemon from New Orleans. Other guests will include Randi Kaye, Gary Tuchman and Poppy Harlow.
New Year's Eve Live with Carson Daly (NBC)
There will be two live specials airing on 31 December, namely "New Year's Eve Game Night with Andy Cohen" at 10 pm and "New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" at 11:30 pm.
The latter will also feature a performance by Gwen Stefani. Daly will be joined by Bravo Cohen on the live telecast from Times Square.
Pitbull's New Year Revolution (Fox)
Pitbull's party will be live at 8 pm from Miami and will feature performances by Puff Daddy and the family, Yazz, Jussie Smollett, and Timbaland.
Fans can vote HERE for the song they want Pitbull to sing for his New Year's Eve performance.
All-American New Year (Fox News)
Donald Trump will appear on Fox News' "All-American New Year" accompanied by Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric Bolling. Trump will join the show at 11 pm and will stay on through midnight. The broadcast will start at 9 pm.
