Wondering where you favourite celebrities would be partying this New Year? While the world decides to spend their New Year's eve partying in crowded clubs and at house, our A-listers do it a bit differently and stylishly -- they go on vacations to some of the most exotic locations.

There's no official confirmation as to who will be headed where to welcome 2016, but going by their previous years' plans, here are a few hotspots where we think you could find your favourite celebrities partying/holidaying hard.

Barbados

Well, we already know that this is Rihanna's hometown and we are already assuming that the singer will be spending her New Year's Eve here as she was recently spotted chilling out on the streets there. Well, it's not just Riri who is the usual suspect at Barbados, let us tell you that these shores have also attracted celebs like Simon Cowell, Mark Wahlberg and P Diddy among others.

Aspen

If celebs want to ski through the New Year's, then they head to Aspen. The Colorado town has been the all-time favourite destination for Mariah Carey, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Jack Nicholson and Antonio Banderas. And even this year, we guess you could catch Mariah Carey spending New Year's Eve at Aspen as she has posted a picture of herself enjoying a hot tub dip in Aspen on her Instagram.

Mexico

It has been reported that stars who prefer keeping it low key and are camera shy, head to Mexico. Well, you will agree with us when we say this after you know the celebs who have been pictured chilling out here. In the past years, this place has been flocked by the likes of George Clooney and his new wife Amal, Jennifer Aniston and hubby Justin Theroux, Jimmy Kimmel, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Howard Stern and Michelle Rodriguez.

St Barts

This Caribbean island has year and again witnessed more famous faces than non-famous ones cashing in on the festivities. Some decide to stay in a villa, some rent out a yatch. Celebs including Lana Del Ray, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce, JayZ, Lindsey Lohan are regulars on this island and you are sure to spot a few even this year too.

Las Vegas

Last minute rush, well then Sin City it is for celebs, including Heidi Klum, Megan Fox, Kim Kardashian and Jenny McCarthy, who have in the past reportedly spent lavishly on over-sized suites to celebrate New Year's.

Miami

They didn't have time to decide or plan, hence they go for this neighbourhood sort-of choice. Celebs are spotted spending hours on the beach partying here. This one is like a go-to destination for Pitbull, Usher, Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy and Becky G.

Maldives

Not really like the place to be for the rich and famous. And there haven't been many celebs who have been photographed holidaying here. But even if you don't see any of those famous faces, you can bet your chances on the Beckhams.

Hawaii

Jenson Button got married here, President Obama bid adieu to 2014 here and Steven Tyler has been snapped zipping around in motorbike with girlfriend Aimee Preston here -- well, it looks like Hawaii beaches have attracted quite a few A-listers.
