After receiving overwhelming public response to the low-end Redmi 4A, Xiaomi on Tuesday unveiled the advanced Redmi 4 variant series in New Delhi.
The Redmi 4 sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS LCD screen, Snapdragon 435 octa-core chipset with Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

It comes with full metallic body having 2.5D curved glass shield, fingerprint sensor (on the back), a 13MP camera on the back with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash (dual-tone in Prime model), PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), a 5MP front snapper and a massive 4,100mAh battery.
Besides the new Redmi phone, Xiaomi also launched Mi Router 3C. It comes with 64MB RAM with range of 80 meters. It also capable of connecting 64 devices with top download speed up to 300mbps.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 series and Mi Router 3C price and availability:
Like the previous iteration, Xiaomi Redmi 4 series comes in different storage configurations- 2GB RAM+16GB ROM, 3GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB ROM-- for Rs. 6,999, Rs. 8,999 and RS. 10,999, respectively. They will be made available on May 23 exclsuively at 12 noon on Mi.com and Amazon.in.
Even the Mi Router 3C, which costs Rs. 1,999 will go on sale on the same date on aforementioned e-commerce platforms.
Bengaluru consumers can also buy Redmi 4 from Xiaomi's Mi Home at Phoenix Market City, Bangalore starting 20th May 2017. They can also pre-book a device from Mi.com between 16th and 19th May by paying a small token advance of Rs. 1,000 and pick it up from Mi Home on 20th May.

Xiaomi's new Redmi 4 series will be competing against Lenovo K5 Plus, K6 Power, Moto E3 Power and recently launched 5.5-inch Asus Zenfone Go, among others.
