Earlier this week, Xiaomi Mi5's press shot surfaced online revealing the device will boast a physical home button, probably housing a fingerprint sensor. Now, Chinese Weibo user webthinker123 posted a raw image of Xiaomi Mi5 giving us a glimpse of the design language of the flagship device.
In the photo (courtesy, CNMO), we see that Xiaomi Mi5 boasts shiny metal chassis around the bezel just like its predecessor, but with a few improvements. The company has incorporated two double grille speakers on each side at the bottom with USB port in the middle.
We also see a physical home button with metal-ring around it, suggesting Mi5 might indeed house finger-print sensor, which we have been hearing a lot in the media for the last few weeks.
Besides the front-panel, the leaked image does not disclose any other detail of Xiaomi Mi5.
As per previous reports, the new device is expected to debut on 21 January. So, there are chances that more images are likely to hit the Web as we get closer to the launch date.
