A fresh batch spy shots of the new Toyota Fortuner has emerged online, adding to the long-list of the spy shots of the SUV before its launch in the country. Toyota has already started dispatching the new Fortuner to its dealerships in the country and the bookings are also underway.
The latest images of the new Fortuner come from indianAutosblog and the SUV is seen here in its fully revealed form. The images are believed to have been taken at a dealership of Toyota. Toyota is expected to pull the wraps off the new Fortuner on November 7 and the deliveries are likely to begin by the end of November.
From a visual stand point, the new Fortuner get a revised front bumper with bi-xenon LED projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs) and LED tail-lamps. New Toyota Fortuner measures 4,795mm in length, 1,855mm in width, 1,835mm in height and 2,750mm in wheelbase and is expected to come with 7-inch T-Connect infotainment system, reverse camera, electrically adjustable driver's seat and cruise control. On the safety front, the new Fortuner will get ABS (anti-lock Braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), brake assist, TRC (traction control), HAC (hill-start assist control) and seven airbags.
Expected to be priced in the price range of Rs 33 lakh to Rs 40 lakh, the Fortuner will come with a 2.8-litre GD diesel and a 2.7-litre petrol engines. While the diesel variant will generate a power of 175bhp and 360Nm of torque, the petrol mill will be tuned to pump in 158bhp of power along with 245Nm of torque. The transmission in the SUV will be handled by six-speed manual and automatic gearbox.
The new Fortuner is expected to be offered in six variants -- 4x2 Petrol Manual, 4x2 Petrol Auto, 4x2 Diesel Manual, 4x2 Diesel Auto, 4x4 Diesel Manual, 4x4 Diesel Auto and is likely to get a price tag in the range of Rs 33 lakh to Rs 40 lakh.
