OnePlus CEO Peter Lau recently posted the first OnePlus 5 camera sample on Weibo, depicting the clear sky at night and some exquisite details including shadows, the grime covering the walls of a rundown building and some stairways inside the construction.
The meta-data obtained from the camera sample suggests that OnePlus 5 might indeed feature a 16MP snapper with f/1.8 aperture. The best part is that you don't see any noise, despite the shot being taken in low-light conditions.
Earlier camera samples which were reportedly captured on the OnePlus 5 suggest that one of the primary camera's sensors will shoot in monochrome. The monochrome camera is expected to produce sharper and highly-detailed snapshots in contrast to its regular variant.
Lau has also shared an interesting text message with the camera sample saying, "What a purely clear sky! See you at 10:00am tomorrow. Good night."
With the OnePlus 5 launch set for June 20, we could see several more leaks in the coming days. The handset is expected to go on sale starting June 22 in India as an Amazon exclusive.
