With not much time left before this year's E3, one of the major gaming events of the year, it seems Microsoft is planning for a special treat for its fans hooked to the recently released Xbox One.
Going by a recent leak, Microsoft is apparently set to showcase a brand new controller for the Xbox One console. If things fall in place, expect the new controller to feature at the E3 during Microsoft presentation at the event.
The company's own Xbox Support website was recently updated with a special mention for a 3.5mm headphone port at the base of the pad for the new controller. Besides, it was also mentioned that the new feature is "only available on controllers released after June 2015".
If you are looking for any sort credibility in the report, know that Austrian retailer Libro has also leaked what is said to be the first images of Microsoft's tweaked Xbox One controller.
As revealed via the new leak, not only will the upgraded controller feature a 3.5mm headphone port, but it will also arrive with quite an attractive colour pattern in black and grey with a sort of camouflage designing.
It has been touted the controller will be released on 8 June, just before the E3. We expect Microsoft to speak out officially on the controller soon.
Stay tuned for more updates!
