More spy shots of new Honda Jazz 2015 continue to show up as the upcoming premium hatchback gets closer to its launch in the country.
The latest spy shots from Gaadi.com show the new Honda Jazz in its most revealing avatar as it is being landed at the dealerships of the company. Honda is expected to break the cover of its new Jazz in India on 8 July.
In the spy shots, we can see a white new Jazz, which is believed to be the top-end variant of the model, with more stylised front and rear profiles. The New Honda Jazz, the latest entrant in the hatchback segment, seems to be getting alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and wing mirrors with integrated indicators.
Inside the cabin, the model is seen with touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, DVD/CD, USB and AUX-In connectivity, steering mounted controls and automatic climate control system. A recent report had said that new Honda Jazz will be launched in a total of 12 variants in India, 7 petrol including two automatic variants, and 5 diesels, with a sticker price of not more than ₹7.1 lakh (ex-showroom).
Under the hood, new Honda Jazz will be plonked with 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio that can generate power of 87bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque. The petrol version would come fitted with CVT and paddle shifters.
New Honda jazz, in its latest avatar, is likely to be offered in six colour choices: White, Red, Silver, Titanium Metallic, Crystal Black and Carnelian Red. When launched in India, new Honda Jazz will take on the likes of Hyundai's Elite 20 and Maruti Swift in India.
OnCars.in reports that some dealers of Honda have started accepting bookings for new Jazz in the country with a down payment of ₹21,000.
