Honda recently confirmed the launch of its highly-anticipated new Jazz in India for July. Now, ahead of its official launch, a fresh batch of spy shots of 2015 Honda Jazz has hit the web, showing the interiors of the model in detail.
This is the first time that the interior of the all new Jazz has been caught on camera, thanks to the folks at Car Dekho. The latest spy shots confirm that the new Honda Jazz will also be offered with CVT gearbox and there is also steering mounted paddle shifters on the menu, which is a first in its segment .
The spy shots also show the steering mounted audio controllers, 5-inch non-touch audio system with FM/AM, AUX-in, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, and automatic climate control. The interior of the new 2015 Jazz shares some similarities with Honda City, and is seen with dual-tone black and silver paint jobs.
Coming to the engine line-up of the new Jazz, the model will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. Although the engine specifications of the car have been closely guarded so far, under the hood, the petrol Jazz is likely to pack the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio that can generate power of 87bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm.
On the other hand, the diesel Jazz is expected to pack 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque. This Jazz is the first model to include diesel mills.
In India, new Honda Jazz will compete against the likes of Maruti Swift and Hyundai Elite i20, and is expected to carry a price tag in the range of ₹5- ₹7.5 lakh.
Expected to be offered in four trims, E, S, V, VX, 2015 Honda Jazz premium hatchback is likely to be available in six exterior colour choices: White, Red, Silver, Titanium Metallic, Crystal Black, and Carnelian Red.
Previous reports had stated that the company is likely to open the bookings for the new Jazz in India soon, as the model is expected to enter the market in the first week of July.
