Update: The wait is finally over as the much-anticipated new Honda Jazz is here. Honda pulled the wraps off its new Jazz on Wednesday, 8 July, at a grand event in India.

All new third gen Honda Jazz has been priced at ₹ 5.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The bookings for new Honda Jazz are underway in India with a down payment of ₹21,000 and the model is expected to go on sale at ₹5.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
From what we know so far, Jazz will come with 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio, and can generate power of 90bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque.
The transmission will be taken care by either a 5-speed manual or a CVT with paddle shifters in petrol variants and 6-speed manual transmission in diesel Jazz. While Honda petrol Jazz promises to give a mileage of 19kmpl, the diesel variant is rated to return a mileage of 27.3kmpl.
Previous leaks indicated that the model will be offered in five variants like City — E, S, SV, V and VX — and will be available in seven body paints: Sunset Orange, Urban Titanium Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Orchid White Pearl, Taffeta White, Golden Brown Metallic and Alabaster Silver Metallic.
Honda Jazz E trim is expected to come with power and tilt-adjustable steering, driver seat-belt and key-off reminder, LED high-mounted stop-lamp, LED tail lamps and power-windows on four doors.
The features of Honda Jazz S is speculated to include ABS with EBD (CVT and diesel), rear windshield defogger, chrome front lower grille, body-coloured door handles and ORVMs, 8.9cm audio system with 4 speakers, steering-mounted audio controls, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, rear parcel shelf and central locking.
Honda Jazz SV trim is likely to get driver and passenger airbags, front fog-lights, rear micro-antenna, instrument cluster with LCD and Blue back light, outside temperature display, centre console with premium black gloss finish, 12.7cm display audio system and hands-free telephone control on steering wheel.
In addition to the features of Honda Jazz SV, the Jazz V model is rumoured to include alloy wheels, turn indicators on wing mirrors, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, auto AC with touch controls, paddle shifts (CVT only) and electric folding OVRMs.
The top-end trim Honda Jazz VX is expected to house features such as front and rear mudguards, 15.7cm touchscreen AVN system, DVD and navigation, black-seat upholstery, seat back pocket, 60:40 seat back, ear seats multi-utility modes and rear-seat reclining.
