After launching the facelifted avatar of Splendor Pro motorcycle in India, Hero MotoCorp is apparently getting readying to unveil the new Splendor+ for the country.
Folks at Indian Autos Blog have shared the spy shots of new Hero Splendor+, taken during the official photo shoot at Magarpatta's IT zone in Pune. From the images, as far as the styling and design are concerned, the new Spelndor+ remains the same as the current model except for the addition of 'power start' feature. Hero is expected to roll out the new motorcycle in the coming weeks.
As for the engine, power is likely to be drawn from the same 97.2 cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine with OHC which can churn out 8.24bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm at 5,000 rpm, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The Splendor+ is also likely to include 12 V 3 Ah maintenance free battery which is used in the new Splendor Pro.
Recently, Hero launched its new Splendor Pro for Rs 46,850 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powering the new Splendor Pro is the same 97.2cc air-cooled 4 stroke single cylinder APDV engine. The vehicle gets electric start, new visor, clear lens indicator, new fuel tank design and new graphics.
