A new France Visa Application Centre was opened in Bengaluru on Monday (May 15, 2017), making it easier for applicants residing in and around the city to apply for French visas.
Alexandre Ziegler, Ambassador of France to India, inaugurated the new centre in the presence of dignitaries from French ministries, the Embassy of France, Consulate General of France, Atout France (France's official Tourism Development Agency), and VFS Global.
French visa applicants have six dedicated submission counters and separate biometric booths as well as dedicated services in the Premium Lounge. Applicants can also pay through credit and debit cards (in addition to cash payments) at the Visa Application Centre.
