New Cyanogen OS 12 (Android 5.0.2 Lollipop) Stability OTA Update Released to YU Yureka

In less than a month of Cyanogen OS 12 (Android 5.0 Lollipop) being released for Micromax YU Yureka, a new stability update has been rolled out for the device via OTA (Over-The-Air).

"We are excited to announce a new software update for Yureka which will lead to improved battery performance for YUREKA," said the company on the official YU forum.

It added that this update (build number: YNG1TAS1K0) will be seeded only for Yureka devices that got upgraded to the official Cyanogen OS 12 (build number: YNG1TAS0W0) last month. The new update is 130MB in size and primarily brings enhancement to Yureka's battery-life.

How to Install Android 5.0.2 Lollipop incremental update on YU Yureka smartphones via OTA [Over-The-Air]:

If YU Yureka owners are getting the update notifications, they should select - "Yes, I'm in" option >> then, after downloading, select >> "Install now." The phone will restart automatically and the OS will be updated to the new version YNG1TAS1K0.
