As Chevrolet continues testing its soon-to-be-launched Trailblazer facelift in India, a fresh batch of images of the SUV has hit the web, giving us yet another look at the model ahead of its official arrival. The new Chevrolet Trailblazer is expected to be launched in the country during the festive season this ear.
Caught on camera by IndianCarsBikes, the latest images of the Trailblazer show a carefully camouflaged prototype, thus not revealing any key details of the model. However, most of the details of the New Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 are out and suggest that the SUV will carry significant changes both inside and outside.
From what we know so far, while under the hood, the SUV is likely to carry over the engines of the exiting model, it is expected that the SUV will get a new bonnet, new headlamps with LED daytime running lights and new front-grille. Inside the cabin, it is expected to accommodate an updated instrument cluster, an 8-inch MyLink infotainment system and support for Apple CarPlay, and new dashboard.
The current model is powered by a 2.8-litre Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that develops 197bhp of power at 3,600rpm and 500Nm of torque at 2,000rpm mated to six-speed automatic transmission.
Earlier, Zauba records, which track India's import and export data, had shown that Chevrolet has imported one unit of Trailblazer 2017 from Thailand. The imported unit is the LTZ variant of the Chevrolet Trailblazer facelift.
