Pune-based two-wheeler maker Bajaj's Pulsar range is probably one of the brands in the auto world that has always made headlines. And true to our guess is the new updated Pulsar range, which is expected to make its entry into the market anytime soon from now.
The eagle-eyed biking enthusiasts have set their eyes on the new updated Pulsar range ever since the company hinted that it is being readied for a new start. The internet is already abuzz with spy shots and videos of the new Pulsar, which includes Pulsar 135LS, Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220F. And it' just not over yet. A fresh video of the new updated Pulsar 220F has emerged online, and this time the interesting bit is that the new model is seen in a new body shade. While the update is not just limited to the colour palette, the news of the new blue colour for the Pulsar 220F could be music to the ears of motor aficionados.
In its new avatar of the Pulsar 220F, the major change is the BS-IV complaint engine, even though the bike continues to be powered by the same 4-stroke, DTS-i, oil cooled, single cylinder 220cc unit that generates 20bhp of power and 19.12Nm of torque. Coming to the other updates in the bike, the new Pulsar 220F now gets new body graphics, rim decals, new matte-grey finish exhaust with chrome highlighting and blue backlit instrument console light. Other features include softer seats and clip-on handlebars with matte finish.
The updated Pulsar 220F has already started arriving at the showrooms and reports suggest that the bike now carries a price tag of Rs 91,000 (ex-showroom Thane). Bajaj is expected to make a formal announcement regarding the launch of the new Pulsar range soon.
