Pune-based two-wheeler maker Bajaj has reportedly launched the updated Pulsar 220F in India. The new Bajaj Pulsar 220F with BS-IV complaint engine was earlier spotted at a showroom, indicating the arrival of the model.
Now lending credence to the earlier discussion, a report of OverDrive says that the new Pulsar 220F has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs 91,000 (ex-showroom Thane). However, the company is yet to release any statement.
Meanwhile, the 2016 Pulsar 200F has surfaced online in a video. In its new avatar, although the Pulsar 220F retains the current styling and features, the bike does get new body graphics, rim decals, new matte-grey finish exhaust with chrome highlighting and blue backlit instrument console light. Other features include softer seats and clip-on handlebars with matte finish.
As far as the engine of the new Pulsar 200F is concerned, the bike continues to be powered by the same 4-stroke, DTS-i, oil cooled, single cylinder 220cc unit that generates 20bhp of power and 19.12Nm of torque and the good news is that the engine is now BS-IV complaint. The 2016 Pulsar 220F is expected to be available for purchase soon.
Bajaj is also expected to bring the updated version of the Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 150 in India soon along with the power cruiser the Kratos VS400. Kratos VS400, the new flagship model from Bajaj, is poised for its market launch in India in November.
