Pune-based two-wheeler maker Bajaj's newly launched updated Pulsar 220F motorcycle has started reaching the showrooms across the country. More images of the new Pulsar 220F have emerged online, suggesting that the company would start the delivery soon.
The updated Pulsar 220F has been priced at Rs 91,000. While the Pulsar 220F remains very much within its style and design in its new avatar, the major change is the BS-IV compliant engine. From what we have seen, the new Pulsar 220F get new body graphics, rim decals, new matte-grey finish exhaust with chrome highlighting and blue backlit instrument console light. Other features include softer seats and clip-on handlebars with matte finish.
The bike continues to be powered by the same 4-stroke, DTS-i, oil cooled, single cylinder 220cc unit that generates 20bhp of power and 19.12Nm of torque and as said the engine is now BS-IV complaint.
According to the emerging reports, Bajaj is also likely to start the dispatch of the new Pulsar 180 soon. The updated Pulsar 180 will also feature BS-IV compliant engine. Other changes will be largely the visual modifications such as the new body decals and rims. Bajaj has confirmed earlier that the company would roll out the updated Pulsar range by the end of 2016. Besides the Pulsar 220F and the Pulsar 180, the two-wheeler maker is also expected to launch the new Pulsar 150.
