Pulsar fans in India are going to love this. If it was the new updated Pulsar 220F and the Pulsar 180 that made headlines last week, coming your way now is the new updated Pulsar 150, which is expected to go on sale soon in the country.
The new Pulsar 150 is said to have already started arriving at the dealership centres of the company, and the company is likely to announce the pricing in the coming days. The updated motorcycle now comes in monotone colour, MotorOctane reported.
Other changes in the updated new Pulsar 150 are same as those in the new Pulsar 200F and Pulsar 180. It now gets new red body decals and red rims, and sports matte-finish headlamp bezel and clip-on handlebar. The new Pulsar 150 also features blue backlit instrument console.
What comes as a disappointment is that the new Pulsar 150 continues to be powered by the BS-III compliant engine, while the Pulsar 200F and Pulsar 180 have been upgraded to BS-IV. Pulsar 150 will be powered by 149cc single cylinder, DTS-i engine, which can churn out 15bhp at 9,000rpm and 12.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm mated to five-speed gearbox. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar is expected to get a price tag similar to the current model in the market.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Pulsar 220F has started arriving at the showrooms and the updated model has been priced at Rs 91,000. Besides rolling out the new Pulsar range in India, the Pune-based two-wheeler maker is also expected to launch its flagship power cruiser, the Kratos VS 400, which is also now known as the Dominar 400, in the country soon.
