Bajaj is expected to announce the launch of the new updated Pulsar range in India soon. The company has already teased the upcoming models on its social media pages and the motorcycles have also started arriving at the showrooms.
The updated Pulsar range from Bajaj is expected to include three models—the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220F. Although reports had suggested that the new Pulsar range would include BS-IV compliant engine, the latest bit is that the new Pulsar 150 will continue to be powered by the BS-III compliant engine. The new Pulsar 150 has already started arriving at the showrooms of the company and is expected to be priced at around Rs 74,000 (ex-showroom), reported Dino's vault.
The updated Pulsar 150 now gets new red body decals and red rims, and sports matte-finish headlamp bezel and clip-on handlebar. Other features include tubeless tyres, twin-LED strip taillamps and the company also seems to have worked on other elements of the model such as seat and clutch. The Pulsar 150 will also be powered by the same 149cc single cylinder, DTS-i engine, which can churn out 15bhp at 9,000rpm and 12.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm mated to five-speed gearbox.
Coming to the updated Pulsar 180 and 220F, while BS-IV compliant engine will come as major update, there are also other changes such as new body graphics, rim decals, new matte-grey finish exhaust with chrome highlighting and blue backlit instrument console light. Other features include softer seats and clip-on handlebars with matte finish.
