It's not just the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220F that are getting a makeover. The most-affordable offering in the Pulsar range — the Pulsar 135 LS — is also ready to hit the roads in its new avatar. The new Pulsar 135 LS has started reaching the showrooms of Bajaj.
Images of the new Pulsar 135 LS, believed to have been taken at a dealership centre, have been posted by RushLane. The new Pulsar 135 LS features reworked headlight cluster, new body decals, black finished engine and exhaust and black matte finish on the handle bar. The bike also seems to have got new seat and a body shade. The Pulsar 135 LS continues to be powered by a 135 cc 4-valve DTS-i engine, which can churn out a power output of 12bhp at 9000rpm and a peak torque of 11.4Nm at 7500 rpm. This engine comes mated to five-speed transmission. It employs a 240mm front disc and 130mm rear drum and telescopic forks up-front and a twin nitrox charged coil spring shocks at the rear. The new Pular135 has apparently missed out on the BS-IV engine upgrade.
According to Rushlane, the publisher of the spy shots of the Pulsar 135 LS, the new version will get a price tag of Rs 58,000 (ex-showroom). Bajaj is expected to announce the launch of the new Pulsar range soon. Bajaj's updated Pulsar 180, Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 220F have also started arriving at the showrooms of the company.
