In what seems to be good news about the upcoming launch of Avenger cruiser new editions, the models have started reaching the dealerships of the company ahead of their possible launch on 27 October.
The folks at Motoroids have shared a new set of spy shots of the new Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise, which have been taken at a dealer, indicating that the new Avenger editions are set to hit the roads soon. The bike maker has started sending invites for an event on 27 October. Although there is no information about what the event is going to be, the reports suggest that Bajaj will pull the wraps off its new Avenger editions.
Bajaj is understood to be readying three new editions of its Avenger cruiser for the Indian market. While two of which, namely Avenger 220 Street, 220 Cruise, have already made their online debut through spy shots, the third rumoured variant Avenger 150 is yet to be seen. However, reports indicate that there is also a third variant with 150cc engine of Bajaj Pulsar 150 gearing up for the launch.
From what we hear, Bajaj Avenger 220 Street and 220 Cruise will continue to be powered by the same 220cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine of the current one in the market.
Currently, the cruiser Avenger draws power from a 220cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine sourced from Pulsar 220 capable of churning out 19bhp at 8,400rpm and 17.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm.
