"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" (PRDP) actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has been offered a role in the popular American television series, "Game of Thrones" (GoT).
According to Mumbai Mirror, "PRDP" action director Greg Powell has offered him the role. Powell has worked on big Hollywood projects, including "Avengers: Age of Ultron", "Fast and Furious 6", the "Harry Potter" series and now, "GoT".
"Greg has directed two sword-fighting sequences in 'PRDP' for which I had to train for over a month in order to get the stance and wrist movements right. He seemed pretty impressed with all the hard work I put in and made the offer when we were shooting for the climax scene a few months ago," Neil told Mumbai Mirror.
The actor feels its all thanks to his latest release, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", that he could meet Powell. He also said that his role in "GoT" will be similar to the one in the Sooraj Barjatya directorial.
"I play a royal in both and also feature in combat scenes," Neil said.
Neil further said that he is a huge fan of this TV series and someone from the production team is expected to meet him by the end of this month.
However, as people know, "Game of Thrones" is known for its nudity and intimate scenes. On this, Neil said, "I have gone nude for 'Jail' (2009 film), so why not for this? I am okay with it if it's required for my character. I am not intimidated by it as an actor."
Apart from nudity and action sequences, the TV series is also quite famous for surprising the viewers with sudden deaths and new faces. The entry of Neil Nitin Mukesh seems to be one of the surprises for the "GoT" lovers.
Only time will tell whether the audience will love Neil in the series or not, but this offer will truly boost his career.
Neil also praised action director Powell by saying, "He is extremely humble and professional. I feel honoured that I got to work with him."
Meanwhile, he is playing the character of Salman Khan's step-brother in Rajshri Productions "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". The film will have a fighting sequence between the two brothers.
