The makers of "Shaandaar" released a new song "Neend Na Mujhko Aaye" on Thursday.
Picturised on the lead pair Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the song composed by Amit Trivedi is a re-mixed version of Hemant Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar's song from "Post Box 999".
Both Alia and Shahid took to their twitter handles to share the new song. "A Kela a NIGHT, keeps insomnia BRIGHT and #NeendNaMujhkoAaye is OUT TONIGHT ;) @shahidkapoor," tweeted Alia. Shahid wrote, "This ones for all you night birds awake right now."
In the song, Shahid and Alia, who play insomniacs in the film, are seen battling sleepless nights by engaging themselves in some random activities. The song narrates how the two insomniacs connect with each other and eventually fall in love.
"Neend Na Mujhko Aaye" is the fourth track from the film, after "Gulaboo", "Shaam Shaandaar" and "Nazdeekiyaan".
Like the previous songs went viral, "Neend Na Mujhko Aaye" is also expected to receive similar response from music lovers.
Meanwhile, "Shaandaar" has been creating a huge buzz ever since the trailer was released. The film not only has a fresh on-screen pairing, but the plot of the film too looks interesting.
Directed by Vikas Bahl and co-produced by Phantom Films, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Fox, "Shaandaar" is slated for a Dussehra release on 22 October.
