Season 12 episode 18 of "NCIS" will not be aired by CBS on Tuesday, 18 March. However, popular guest-star Delilah (Margo Harshman) will return for "Status Update" on 24 March.
Season 12 episode 17 "The Artful Dodger", which aired on 10 March, revolved around DiNozzos (Michael Weatherly) and the one before that, "Blast from the Past", on Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon). It has been a while since McGee (Sean Murray) has been the centre of attention, and with Dalilah's return from Dubai, their long-distance romance will be focused on.
"Status Update" will also involve a terrorist group that is being tracked by Delilah. Although the synopsis only suggests that the couple is united to investigate the case, it remains to be seen if she will leave Dubai and return to Washington to work with the "NCIS" team.
Does this mean that the beloved couple can change their relationship status from long-distance couple to couple living-together, at least for a week?
The synopsis reads: "After the body of a thief is found in a Marine's house, NCIS discovers the calling card of a terror group Delilah and the Department of Defense have been tracking."
Ellen Hollman is also set to return to "NCIS" in "Status Update" as Special Agent Tina Larsen.
Watch out for "NCIS" season 12 episode 18 on Tuesday, 24 March, at 8pm (EST) on CBS.
