The Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA 2017 Playoffs like no other. They are just a game away from clinching the NBA title as they prepare to face Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 at Quicken Loans Arena on Friday. Warriors currently lead Cavaliers 3-0 in the best-of-seven-final.
The Warriors have not lost a single game in the Playoffs, and are on 15-0 streak. The Cavaliers have also not been able to break Warriors' amazing streak, as they have lost their last three matches. The Cavs have not played badly in the finals, but it is the brilliance of the Warriors, which has stood out in the NBA Finals.
The Cavs have been outplayed by Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. The duo has been in great form, and especially Durant has been on top of his game. The former Thunder player won Game 3 for Warriors with a crucial three-pointer in the dying stages. Everything he touched has turned to gold in the Playoffs so far.
Can Cavaliers stop the Warriors from clinching the title on Friday? Yes, Cavs can as they have some quality players like LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. James has been their best player in the finals so far, but besides some help from Irving and Love, others have not contributed much to the score.
When one comes against such a strong team like Warriors, the opponent has to come together as a unit to emerge victorious. This has not happened, and the results are there for everyone to see as well.
Looking at the way things have moved in the first three matches, the Cavs have to come up with something extra special to beat Warriors, who are favourites to win 4-0 and take home the NBA title. The Cavs will need much more than the usual James and Irving show to become the first team this Playoffs to beat Warriors.
