Actor Nazriya Nazim is all set to tie the knot with the Malayalam film industry's hot and happening young star, Fahadh Faasil. [Also Read: Nazriya is Magic, Says Fahadh Faasil]
Nazriya, who became popular with Tamil films "Neram" and "Raja Rani", confirmed on Facebook that she is engaged to Fahadh.
"Friends.. I have got engaged with Fahadh Faasil. Thanks for all your wishes," Nazriya posted on her Facebook page on Monday (20 January).
The families of both actors have mutually agreed to the wedding. Fahadh's father Fassil, a noted Malayalam director, said the marriage will take place in August 2014.
Fahadh is a popular Malayalam actor known for his films "22 Female Kottayam", "Diamond Necklace", "Annayum Rasoolum" and "Oru Indian Pranayakatha" among others.
On the other hand, Nazriya began her acting career as a child artiste and then later became a host in television shows. She landed her first female lead role in Malayalam film "Maad Dad". Her second film (as a lead heroine) "Neram" was a commercial success in Tamil and Malayalam languages. She was widely appreciated for her role in the Tamil film "Raja Rani", which turned out to be a big hit in 2013.
Nazriya has worked with Dhanush in "Naiyaandi" and is awaiting the release of "Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah" with Jai. In Malayalam, the pretty actress has a few films lined up for release including "Salalah Mobiles" with Dulquer Salman and "Om Shanti Oshana" with Nivin Pauly.
Nazriya will also be sharing screen space with Fahadh in "L for Love", directed by Anjali Menon. The multi-starrer has the Malayalam industry's new generation actors including Dulquer and Nivin.
