Nayanthara beats Shruti Haasan, Anushka, Tamannaah, Samantha to become Most Desirable Woman of 2015

Nayanthara has been declared the Most Desirable Woman of 2015 by Chennai Times. Her name is featured over many big names in the race, including Shruti Haasan, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Trisha Krishnan.

Nayanthara was on the ninth spot among the Top 25 Most Desirable Women in 2013 and ranked at the seventh place in 2014. Buoyed with the success of three box office hits, "Thani Oruvan," "Maya" and "Naanum Rowdydhaan," the actress has been named right on the top of the most recent list.

One of the top actresses of South India who has acted in over 50 movies, the Kerala-based actress has done over 50 movies in her 12-year career. She has worked with many big names of South India, including Vijay, Ajith, Rajinikanth, Suriya, Silambarasan, Balakrishna, Junior NTR and Venkatesh.

Shruti Haasan, who was in the first position in 2014, is pushed to the second place now, followed by Amy Jackson, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in the third, fourth and fifth positions, respectively. The list also includes several new entrants. Keerthy Suresh, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian, Ritika Singh, Aishwarya Rajesh, Kritika Kharbanda, Radhika Apte and Nithya Menen have featured in the list for the first time.
