After a gap of four years, South Indian diva Nayanthara is all set for her next Malayalam movie. The actress will pair up with superstar Mammootty in Siddiques's next, "Bhaskar The Rascal'. The upcoming movie is touted as a complete entertainer.
Nayanthara had acted along with Mammootty in 2005 movies "Thaskara Veeran" and "Rappakal". With Siddhique, the actress has worked in 2010 romantic comedy entertainer "Bodygaurd" along with Dileep.
Nayanthara's last Malayalam movie was Shyamaprasad's psychological drama "Elektra". The movie had won many critical appreciation and accolades including Best Director Awards for Shyamaprasad and Best Dubbing Artist for Praveena in 2011.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara's presence has raised the bar of this upcoming entertainer in terms of its style quotient.
The actress is now going through a career high phase as she already had three releases this year including "Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal" (Tamil), "Anaamika" (Telugu) and "Nee Enge En Anbe" (Tamil).
She is now awaiting release of four more Tamil movies - "Idhu Naama Aalu" opposite Simbu, "Nanbenda" opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin, "Thani Oruvan" opposite Jayam Ravi and "Masss" opposite Suriya.
The shooting of this upcoming Siddique movie is expected to kick-start by December and the director has earlier said the movie will be made in his signature style with elements of comedy, action and dance. The film will also have Harishree Ashokan and Janardhanan in pivotal roles.
"Bhaskar the Rascal" is Siddique's project with Mammootty after a 10-year gap. They had earlier worked together for movies including "Hitler" (1996) and "Chronic Bachelor" (2003), which were huge success at Kerala box office.
Meanwhile, Mammootty is shooting for "Fireman", directed by Deepu Karunakaran. As per reports, the actor will join the sets of the Siddique movie after completing the current schedule.
"Bhaskar The Rascal" will be produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company.
