When the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was shown behind closed doors at this year's E3, a lot of expectations and hopes were pinned on the new game. The kind of success and popularity it has enjoyed over the past few years also added to it. Riding high on the expectations, Naughty Dog has now revealed a brand new Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Special Edition.
Earlier, the developer had already announced that the first three Uncharted games in the series would be getting a release on the PlayStation 4 as Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
The collection was said to feature a re-mastered version of the first three games in the series running at 1080p and 60fps, and also include access to the Uncharted 4 online multiplayer beta.
As far as the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Special Edition is concerned, the developer has included an epic 48-page The Art of Uncharted Trilogy artbook, "which includes a hand-picked selection of concept art from Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake's Deception – something that all Uncharted fans will enjoy."
Apart from that, the Special Edition also comes with an elegantly designed steelbook and a handful of stickers.
As of now, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Special Edition is set for a launch on 7 October in Europe, Australia and New Zealand and on 9 October in the UK and Ireland.
Stay tuned for more updates!
