At Nartanasala has received a positive response for its pre-release business as the theatrical rights fetched a whopping price. It has also surpassed the record of Naga Shaurya's last movie Chalo.
Naga Shaurya is one of the few young Tollywood heroes, who has kept his career graph going up with each movie release. His last flick Chalo, which was released earlier this year, became a blockbuster at the box office. Chalo's success created a lot of hype for At Nartanasala and its rib-tickling promos have only added more to its hype and curiosity, thus generating a huge demand for its rights.
At Nartanasala is slated for a worldwide release and the latest we hear is that the makers have already sealed the deal on the sale of its theatrical rights for all the regions weeks before the movie hits the screen. The movie has reportedly earned Rs 9.80 crore for its producers from the sale of its global distribution rights.
The theatrical rights of Chalo were sold for a whopping Rs 6 crore and the movie returned Rs 12.30 crore (Rs 24 crore gross) for its global distributors. At Nartanasala has now gone on to beat its record. The sources from the industry claim that the makers of At Nartanasala quoted the prices of various areas based on the earnings of Chalo and kept it little lesser than them.
At Nartanasala is a romantic comedy film, which is written and directed by Srinivas Chakravarthi, who is making his debut as a director with the film. It is produced by Usha Mulpuri under the banner Ira Creations. Naga Shaurya and Kashmira are playing the lead roles in the movie while Yamini Bhaskar and Shivaji Raja essay other important roles.
The distributors have reportedly made grand arrangements for the release of At Nartanasala, which is slated to hit a record number of screens on August 30. The movie will be released in 144+ locations in the US and it is quite a big number for a movie featuring young Telugu actor like Naga Shaurya.
