Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's frequent visits abroad, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav has reportedly said Modi visits India just to wash his clothes.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) scion slammed Modi saying the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was given a huge mandate to rule the country and not for foreign tours.
Tejaswi, the younger son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, said the prime minister returns to India to get his clothes washed.
The Raghopur MLA had earlier been slammed for being a class nine dropout, with the hashtag #NauviFailDeputyCM trending on Twitter. However, the 26-year-old gave a fitting response to his critics, telling them to not to judge a book by its cover.
Tejaswi, with his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav, took oath as Cabinet minister in the Nitish Kumar government on 20 November.
