Naren Karthick's most anticipated movie 'Naragasooran' has been censored with a 'U/A' certificate by the CBFC India, and interestingly, Gautham Vasudev Menon, who was initially the producer of the movie is now no longer a part of the flick. After the censoring, makers of the film released a poster of the movie, and the name of Gautham Menon can be seen nowhere in it.
The newly released posters indicate that Badri Kasturi is producing this movie solo. A few months ago, creative tiff arose between Gautham Menon and Naren Karthick, and both of them had a public spat on Twitter. During the heated verbal war, Naren Karthick had once revealed that Gautham Menon is such a person who cannot understand the mental agony of industry newcomers.
As Gautham Menon's name is not present in the posters, industry experts believe that the 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaiya' director has himself detached from the flick.
Earlier, many reports claimed that Gautham Menon's Ondraga Entertainment had failed to despatch the remuneration of Aravind Swamy and other lead actors on time.
Touted to be a new age mystery thriller, 'Naragasooran' stars Aravind Swamy, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sundeep Kishan, Shriya Saran, and Aatmika in the lead roles. The runtime of the movie is just 110 minutes, and the makers are now apparently planning to release a promising trailer for this film.
Karthick Naren himself has written the screenplay of this movie. Ron Yethan Yohann has composed the music of 'Naragasooran', while editing is handled by Sreejith Sarang.
The film was originally planned to release on May 04, 2018, but it was delayed due to the problem between Gautham Menon and Karthick Naren. The makers are expected to unveil the new release date along with the upcoming trailer.
'Naragasooran' is the second directorial venture of Karthick Naren. His debut venture 'Dhruvangal Pathinaaru' was a surprise hit at the box-office and the uncompromising cinematic language adopted by the filmmaker received rave reviews from all corners.
