Junior NTR's two-week-old movie "Nannaku Prematho" has continued to do good business at the US box office, but has once again failed to surpass the $2-million mark in the third weekend.
"Nannaku Prematho" opened to an earth-shattering response and collected $1,789,186 from 192 screens at the US box office in its first week. The movie was expected to cross the $2-million mark in the second week, but it suffered an 80 per cent drop in its business due to its reduced screen count. The film raked in approximately $167,037 from 84 screens in the country in the second week.
The Junior NTR and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer collected $1,956,223 at the US box office in two weeks, and it needed $43,777 to join the elite $2-million club. It was expected to earn this much in the third weekend, but its screen count was reduced by over 75% due to new Telugu releases like "Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu" and "Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi".
"Nannaku Prematho" hit rock bottom and collected $36,355 from 19 screens at the US box office in its third weekend. The movie has fallen short of the magic mark by $7,422. Its per-screen average stands at $1,913, which is almost close to its business ($1,988) in the second week.
